Barbecue Bacon Pizza is a smoky and savory pizza topped with tangy barbecue sauce, crispy bacon, tender chicken, red onions, and melted mozzarella cheese on a golden crust.
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
- Transfer dough to a baking tray or pizza stone.
- Brush edges lightly with olive oil.
- Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Top with shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and sliced red onion.
- Add remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

- Pre-bake crust for 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
