Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  5. Top with the second tortilla.
  6. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  7. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let it cool slightly.
  9. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
