Description

Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu is a luxurious twist on the classic Italian dessert, layered with espresso-soaked ladyfingers, sweet cherries, creamy mascarpone filling, and a hint of almond-flavored amaretto.


Ingredients

  • 24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pitted cherries (fresh or jarred, drained)
  • 2 tbsp cherry syrup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine cooled espresso and amaretto.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into espresso mixture and arrange in a single layer in a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  7. Scatter half of the cherries over the cream and drizzle with cherry syrup if using.
  8. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers, cream, and cherries.
  9. Smooth the top and dust with cocoa powder.
  10. Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

  • Do not oversoak ladyfingers to avoid sogginess.
  • Chill overnight for best flavor and texture.
