Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (for brownie)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for cookie dough)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cookie dough)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cookie dough)
  • 1 cup heat-treated all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (for cookie dough)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon brownie batter into the mini muffin pan, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until set. Let cool completely.
  8. For the cookie dough, beat softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy.
  9. Mix in milk and vanilla extract.
  10. Gradually add heat-treated flour and mix until combined.
  11. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  12. Top each cooled brownie bite with a small scoop of cookie dough.
  13. Chill for 20 minutes before serving for best texture.
