Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for swirl)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter.
- Spread blondie batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Dollop cinnamon mixture over batter and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
- Cool completely.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled blondies, slice, and serve.
Notes
- Do not overbake for the best gooey texture.
