Description

Fluffy crescent-style pastries stuffed with a creamy chicken and cheese filling, then baked until golden and topped with a buttery herb coating. These comforting chicken pillows are perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1 tsp dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Separate crescent dough into rectangles, sealing perforations.
  4. Spoon filling into the center of each piece of dough.
  5. Fold dough around the filling, sealing edges to form a pillow shape.
  6. Dip each pillow into melted butter, then coat with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers mixed with parsley.
  7. Place on baking sheet seam-side down.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
