Description
Fluffy crescent-style pastries stuffed with a creamy chicken and cheese filling, then baked until golden and topped with a buttery herb coating. These comforting chicken pillows are perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Separate crescent dough into rectangles, sealing perforations.
- Spoon filling into the center of each piece of dough.
- Fold dough around the filling, sealing edges to form a pillow shape.
- Dip each pillow into melted butter, then coat with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers mixed with parsley.
- Place on baking sheet seam-side down.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.

- Rotisserie chicken works great for convenience.
