Description

Crispy Crab Nuggets are bite-sized seafood snacks made with tender crab meat, seasoned coating, and fried until golden and crunchy, perfect as an appetizer or party food.


Ingredients

  • 300 g crab meat (real or imitation), chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 60 g breadcrumbs or panko
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crab meat, egg, mayonnaise, green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small nugget-sized balls or patties.
  4. Roll each piece lightly in flour, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the crab nuggets in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • Serve with tartar sauce, sweet chili sauce, or garlic mayo.
  • Can be baked or air-fried for a lighter version.
