Description
Crispy Crab Nuggets are bite-sized seafood snacks made with tender crab meat, seasoned coating, and fried until golden and crunchy, perfect as an appetizer or party food.
Ingredients
- 300 g crab meat (real or imitation), chopped
- 1 large egg
- 60 g all-purpose flour
- 60 g breadcrumbs or panko
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, egg, mayonnaise, green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small nugget-sized balls or patties.
- Roll each piece lightly in flour, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the crab nuggets in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
- Serve with tartar sauce, sweet chili sauce, or garlic mayo.
- Can be baked or air-fried for a lighter version.
