Description

Crispy Lemon Garlic Mushroom Bites are golden, crunchy mushrooms coated in a flavorful garlic-lemon seasoning, perfect as an appetizer, snack, or plant-based side dish.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  3. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Coat mushrooms evenly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange mushrooms in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
  • Can be made in an air fryer at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
  • Serve with aioli, ranch, or marinara for dipping.
