Description
Crispy Parmesan Potato Towers are thinly sliced potatoes stacked with butter, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, then baked in muffin tins until golden, crispy on the edges, and tender in the center.
Ingredients
- 4 medium Yukon Gold or russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, toss potato slices with melted butter, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Stack potato slices into each muffin cup, layering tightly to form towers.
- Sprinkle any remaining Parmesan mixture over the tops.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until edges are crispy and centers are tender.
- Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully removing.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for evenly thin slices.
- Press stacks firmly to help them hold shape.
- Add shredded mozzarella between layers for extra cheesiness.
