Description
Easy Chicken Stir-Fry is a quick and healthy one-pan meal made with tender chicken pieces, colorful vegetables, and a savory soy-based sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 500 g boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 150 g broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 60 ml soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 80 ml water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add bell peppers, carrot, and broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Return the chicken to the pan.
- Pour in the sauce and stir well.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
- You can substitute vegetables based on availability.
- Do not overcook vegetables to keep them crisp.
