Description

Easy Chicken Stir-Fry is a quick and healthy one-pan meal made with tender chicken pieces, colorful vegetables, and a savory soy-based sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 150 g broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 80 ml water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Add bell peppers, carrot, and broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan.
  7. Pour in the sauce and stir well.
  8. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
  9. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
  • You can substitute vegetables based on availability.
  • Do not overcook vegetables to keep them crisp.
