Description
Crispy fried Doritos stuffed with gooey melted cheese, coated in a crunchy breading and deep-fried to golden perfection for an irresistible snack.
Ingredients
- 12–15 Doritos chips (any flavor)
- 6 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup crushed Doritos (same flavor)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for deep frying
- Optional dipping sauce: ranch, marinara, or cheese sauce
Instructions
- Carefully press two Doritos together with a piece of mozzarella cheese sandwiched between them.
- Freeze the stuffed Doritos for 30 minutes to help them hold together.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Doritos mixed with breadcrumbs.
- Dip each stuffed Dorito into flour, then egg, then the Doritos-breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the coated Doritos in batches for 1–2 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Freezing helps prevent cheese from leaking during frying.
