Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil (or butter), and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for best texture.
- Add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
- Let brownies cool before slicing for clean edges.
