Description
Healthy banana chocolate cups made with simple ingredients, combining natural sweetness from bananas with rich dark chocolate for a guilt-free, no-bake treat.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 150g dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Line a muffin tray with paper liners.
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into the bottom of each liner.
- Add a layer of banana slices on top of the chocolate.
- Drizzle a small amount of peanut or almond butter over the bananas.
- Cover with more melted chocolate to seal each cup.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts or seeds on top if desired.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until set.
- Remove from liners and serve chilled.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
- Store in the freezer for best texture.
- Swap peanut butter with any nut or seed butter.
- Use silicone molds for easy removal.
