A classic no-bake layered dessert inspired by the banana split, featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, fresh bananas, pineapple, and whipped topping finished with chocolate and cherries.
Ingredients
- 200g graham crackers or digestive biscuits, crushed
- 100g butter, melted
- 250g cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or similar)
- 3-4 bananas, sliced
- 1 can (400g) crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- Maraschino cherries for topping
Instructions
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into the bottom of a dish to form the crust.
- Refrigerate the crust for 15-20 minutes to set.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and spread evenly over the crust.
- Layer sliced bananas evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and smooth evenly.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts if using and garnish with cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before serving.

- Drain pineapple thoroughly to avoid a soggy dessert.
- Dip banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Chill overnight for best results.
