Description

A rich and indulgent creamy seafood lasagna layered with tender shrimp, sweet crab meat, lasagna noodles, and a smooth garlic cream sauce baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 300 g raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 200 g crab meat
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until just pink. Remove from heat and gently mix with crab meat.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk and cream, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
  6. Season sauce with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Remove from heat.
  7. Spread a thin layer of cream sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  8. Layer noodles, seafood mixture, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and Parmesan on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp before baking to keep them tender.
  • You may add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • This lasagna pairs well with a fresh green salad.
