Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or marinara
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine, cooking gently until warmed.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and oregano.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated.
  8. Simmer for 1–2 minutes, adjusting consistency with pasta water if needed.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
  • Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
