Description

Seafood Salad is a light and refreshing dish featuring tender shrimp, crab, and crisp vegetables tossed in a creamy, zesty dressing. Perfect for summer gatherings, sandwiches, or serving over fresh greens.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat (or imitation crab), chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped shrimp and crab meat.
  2. Add celery and red onion to the bowl.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour dressing over seafood mixture and gently fold until evenly coated.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled over lettuce, in sandwiches, or with crackers.

Notes

  • Ensure seafood is fully cooked and well-drained before mixing.
  • Add diced cucumber for extra crunch.
  • For a lighter option, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
