Description

A hearty steak sandwich made with juicy grilled beef, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful sauce, all served in a toasted roll.


Ingredients

  • 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 sandwich rolls or baguette pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or garlic sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (or to desired doneness).
  4. Remove and let the steak rest, then slice thinly.
  5. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft and caramelized.
  6. Slice and lightly toast the sandwich rolls.
  7. Spread mayonnaise or garlic sauce on the bread.
  8. Layer lettuce, tomato, steak slices, and sautéed onions.
  9. Close the sandwich and serve warm.
