Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon gelatin (optional, for stability)
- 2 tablespoons water (if using gelatin)
Instructions
- Blend strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
- If using gelatin, dissolve it in water and let it bloom, then gently heat until dissolved and mix into the strawberry puree.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream.
- Spoon the mousse into serving cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
