Description
A delicious Italian-inspired stuffed bread filled with crispy chicken Parmesan, marinara sauce, and melted cheese, rolled and baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 cups cooked breaded chicken, sliced or chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving edges clear.
- Add chopped breaded chicken evenly over the sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Season with garlic powder and oregano.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Make small slits on top for ventilation.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and garnish with parsley before serving.
