Description

Meatball Parmesan Bake is a comforting baked dish made with juicy meatballs simmered in marinara sauce, topped with melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and baked until bubbly and golden.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef or beef and pork meatballs (about 20 small meatballs)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and lightly brown the meatballs for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Add the browned meatballs in an even layer.
  5. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over the top.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can use homemade or store-bought meatballs.
  • Serve with pasta, garlic bread, or over rice.
  • For extra flavor, add sliced provolone cheese before baking.
