Description
Rich, bite-sized desserts that combine fudgy brownie bases with creamy chocolate chip cookie dough on top, finished with mini chocolate chips for a decadent treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for cookie dough)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (for cookie dough)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with liners or grease lightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until just incorporated.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Spoon brownie batter into mini muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For the cookie dough, beat softened butter and brown sugar until creamy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and milk.
- Stir in heat-treated flour until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Roll small portions of cookie dough into balls and flatten slightly.
- Place one cookie dough piece on top of each cooled brownie bite.
- Optionally sprinkle extra mini chocolate chips on top before serving.
Notes
- Heat-treat flour by baking it at 350°F for 5 minutes to make it safe for edible cookie dough.
- Store brownie bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- You can drizzle melted chocolate over the tops for extra richness.
