Description
A rich and creamy Italian-inspired chicken dish featuring tender chicken breasts simmered in a garlic parmesan sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Serve hot with pasta, rice, or vegetables.
Notes
- Use halal chicken if required.
- You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- Add mushrooms for extra texture.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
