Ingredients
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 200g ladyfinger biscuits
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)
- White chocolate shavings (optional for garnish)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste if using.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until light and creamy.
- Pour milk into a shallow dish and add a little vanilla extract.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the vanilla milk mixture.
- Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish or cups.
- Spread a layer of vanilla mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with white chocolate shavings before serving.
