Ingredients

  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)
  • White chocolate shavings (optional for garnish)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste if using.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until light and creamy.
  5. Pour milk into a shallow dish and add a little vanilla extract.
  6. Quickly dip ladyfingers into the vanilla milk mixture.
  7. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish or cups.
  8. Spread a layer of vanilla mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  9. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with white chocolate shavings before serving.
