Crispy Halloumi Wraps are delicious Mediterranean-inspired wraps filled with golden pan-fried halloumi cheese, fresh vegetables, and a creamy garlic herb sauce, all wrapped in soft flatbreads. These flavorful vegetarian wraps are perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into strips
  • 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • For the Garlic Herb Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, dill, parsley, salt, and black pepper to prepare the sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add halloumi slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove halloumi from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Warm the tortillas or flatbreads.
  6. Spread a generous amount of garlic herb sauce over each wrap.
  7. Layer lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and parsley on each wrap.
  8. Top with crispy halloumi strips.
  9. Fold in the sides and roll tightly into wraps.
  10. Slice in half and serve immediately.
