Description

Crispy Parmesan-crusted chicken served with a rich and creamy spinach sauce for a satisfying and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  4. Dip chicken breasts into egg, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
  7. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  8. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  9. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese. Simmer until thickened.
  10. Serve chicken with creamy spinach sauce.

  • Pound chicken for even thickness.
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Add mushrooms for more flavor in the sauce.
  • Do not overcook chicken to keep it juicy.
