Description

Flavorful Cajun-spiced salmon seared and finished in a rich garlic butter sauce, served with tender roasted asparagus for a healthy and delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss asparagus with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast asparagus for 10–12 minutes until tender.
  4. Season salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Sear salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  7. Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the skillet.
  8. Spoon garlic butter over salmon for 1–2 minutes.
  9. Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon.
  10. Serve salmon with roasted asparagus, garnished with parsley.
