Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss asparagus with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
- Roast asparagus for 10–12 minutes until tender.
- Season salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the skillet.
- Spoon garlic butter over salmon for 1–2 minutes.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon.
- Serve salmon with roasted asparagus, garnished with parsley.
Notes
- Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist.
- Use fresh salmon for best flavor.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Add cherry tomatoes for extra color and flavor.
