Description

A delicious and easy salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfectly caramelized and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  4. Place salmon in the pan skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic sauce over it.
  6. Cook for another 3–4 minutes, spooning the sauce over the fish as it thickens.
  7. Remove from heat once salmon is cooked through and glazed.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist.
  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • Can be baked at 200°C for 12–15 minutes instead.
  • Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
