Description
A delicious and easy salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfectly caramelized and full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
- Place salmon in the pan skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic sauce over it.
- Cook for another 3–4 minutes, spooning the sauce over the fish as it thickens.
- Remove from heat once salmon is cooked through and glazed.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist.
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Can be baked at 200°C for 12–15 minutes instead.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
