Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat a pan over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place salmon fillets on a lined baking tray or in a pan.
- Brush the honey lemon sauce generously over the salmon.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or cook in the pan for 4–5 minutes per side until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Spoon extra sauce over the salmon before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist.
- Marinate the salmon for 15 minutes for deeper flavor.
