Ingredients

  • 250g elbow macaroni
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  4. In a small bowl, mix honey, cracked black pepper, and soy sauce.
  5. Pour honey pepper sauce over the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes until sticky. Set aside.
  6. In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth and thickened.
  9. Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
  10. Add cooked macaroni and stir until fully coated.
  11. Serve mac and cheese topped with honey pepper chicken.
  12. Garnish with parsley before serving.
