Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat chicken pieces in flour and cornstarch mixture, then dip into beaten eggs.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, chili flakes, and butter.
- Heat gently until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Toss crispy chicken in the hot honey sauce.
- Divide cooked rice into serving bowls.
- Top with hot honey chicken, cucumber, avocado, and green onions.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the bowls and serve immediately.

- Adjust spice level by adding more or less hot sauce.
- Chicken thighs stay extra juicy and crispy.
