Description
Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites are soft, buttery bite-sized treats made from flaky biscuit dough, baked until golden, then coated in melted butter and a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, dessert, or an easy snack, they’re delicious served warm with a vanilla glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional Vanilla Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
- Arrange the biscuit pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- While the bites bake, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Stir the vanilla extract into the melted butter.
- Immediately after baking, dip each biscuit bite into the melted butter.
- Toss the butter-coated bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
- For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuit bites or serve it on the side for dipping.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Coat the biscuit bites while they are still warm so the cinnamon sugar adheres well.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice for extra warmth.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes as an alternative to baking.
- Serve with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or cream cheese dip.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat before serving.
