Description

Garlic Butter Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are warm, cheesy mini sandwiches packed with tender beef, sautéed onions and peppers, melted provolone cheese, and topped with flavorful garlic butter on soft slider buns.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced ribeye steak or shaved beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shaved beef, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the beef is browned.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating them individually.
  6. Place the bottom half of the buns in a greased baking dish.
  7. Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the buns.
  8. Layer provolone cheese slices over the beef mixture.
  9. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
  10. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
  11. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  12. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  13. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  14. Serve warm.
