Description

Lazy Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken is an easy slow cooker recipe featuring tender chicken simmered in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce, perfect for serving over pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 700 g (1.5 lb) boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the crockpot or slow cooker.
  2. Place the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  4. Top with cream cheese, heavy cream, butter, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and stir it into the creamy sauce.
  7. Let cook for another 10–15 minutes so the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.
  • You can add spinach or mushrooms during the last hour of cooking.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add a small amount of milk or chicken broth.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
