Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Meanwhile, mix ranch dressing and half of the Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
- In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, Italian seasoning, and remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Remove chicken from the oven and spread the Parmesan ranch mixture evenly over each piece.
- Top each chicken breast with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture over the cheese.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes until the topping is golden and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
