Description
Quick Beef Stir Fry is a fast, flavorful dish with tender strips of beef, crisp vegetables, and a savory sauce—better than takeout and ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 400 g beef (sirloin or flank), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but crisp.
- Return beef to the pan and mix well.
- Add water and cook for another 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Drizzle sesame oil and sprinkle black pepper.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
