Description

Quick Beef Stir Fry is a fast, flavorful dish with tender strips of beef, crisp vegetables, and a savory sauce—better than takeout and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 400 g beef (sirloin or flank), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but crisp.
  6. Return beef to the pan and mix well.
  7. Add water and cook for another 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
  8. Drizzle sesame oil and sprinkle black pepper.
  9. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
  • Cook on high heat for authentic stir-fry texture.
