Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cutlets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  5. Whisk in honey and cinnamon until combined.
  6. Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  7. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  9. Stir in heavy cream and dried parsley.
  10. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  11. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  12. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  13. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
