Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 150–180g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until crispy.
- Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes, then remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a simmer and add cornstarch slurry if a thicker sauce is desired.
- Return salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes until salmon is fully glazed and cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve immediately.

- Use fresh salmon for best flavor and texture.
- Do not overcook the salmon to keep it moist and tender.
- You can bake the salmon instead of pan-frying if preferred.
